We have created a list of tools you may wish to use, in order to complete the challenges. Feel free to explore some of the resources and see what they do! We encourage that you do as much research as you can before looking at the hints to avoid you losing too many points, but feel free to use them if you need to. Being able to search Google precisely is an incredibly important skill to have and so we hope that you look up some creative ways to search things on Google to efficiently come up with answers to the solutions.

For encryption-related tasks, we highly recommend using a tool developed by GCHQ (the UK intelligence and cyber security agency) called CyberChef.

Python is a beginner-friendly (and extremely popular) programming language. It can be installed online.

Many programming languages (including Python) can be used online (with no installation required) by using a platform called repl.it.
